PETITION
to place a statue of Lauree Watkins - San Francisco's SAX Legend
on FISHERMAN'S WHARF
 

“We, the undersigned, are petitioning for permission from the San Francisco Port Commission to erect a statue of Lauree Walter Watkins close to where he performed for years with his saxophone under the Fisherman’s Wharf sign. Lauree was a self appointed ambassador of the City, a one-man welcoming committee, and we feel this statue will keep his welcoming spirit alive.”
