throughout the Fest., bar-b-que, fry pies,…..
a fun time that attracts 5,000 people to the historic rural Black
Township Rentiesville, the birthplace and home of OK Blues

minutes South of Muskogee, 70 miles SE of Tulsa, 1 hour West of Fort Smith,
2 hours East of Oklahoma City -- 2 exits north on US
69 from I-40;
EXIT US 69 at Rentiesville, turn East onto Rentiesville Road.

HOW
MUCH: $15/day , kids under 12
free... the Volunteer Option is that if you help us out for
three hours you get in that day FREE and ½ off on the cost of a
Fest T-shirt. Call Pam @ 918-916-0956 for jobs & times. It takes
a lot of people to do this - we have a great deal for volunteers
NB: bring chairs or blankets unless you come early. No
coolers or pets.
MOTELS...we
recommend any major chain in Muskogee, 15 miles up US 69. Travel Lodge, Bacone Inn, Motel 6, Super 8, Ramada Inn etc..
.... In Checotah the motel we recommend is Executive Suites across
from
the truck stop, near Wal-Mart
CAMPING:
parking
is free across the road. You may camp there also, no hook-ups. Or
Lake Eufaula State Park, first come first served on holiday.
